Bulldog Licensing secures new partners for mobile brand “Angry Birds.”

In anticipation of The Angry Birds Movie, Bulldog Licensing has secured four new licensees for Rovio’s “Angry Birds” brand.

Joining the game’s roster is Poeticgem (adult apparel), Smith and Brooks (children’s apparel), Sambro (bags, stationery and pocket money items) and Ravensburger (jigsaw puzzles).

The Angry Birds Movie, produced by Rovio Entertainment and distributed globally by Sony Pictures International, will be released this May.

“All our new ‘Angry Birds’ partners are buying into a huge brand that’s a genuine household name,” says Roby Corney, group managing director, Bulldog. “The movie looks truly phenomenal with massive support from Sony and a huge amount of promotional activity. This, coupled with the incredible content roadmap from Rovio is a real treat to work with, so I’m sure we’ll be announce on more deals very soon.”
