Activision Blizzard has completed its acquisition of King Digital Entertainment.

The gaming network now boasts more than 500 million users.

Activision Blizzard has completed its acquisition of King Digital Entertainment.

ABS Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision, acquired the outstanding shares of King for $18 in cash per share for a total equity value of $5.9 billion.

Activision’s announced the purchase of King in November 2015.

King will continue to be led by Riccardo Zacconi, chief executive officer; Sebastian Knutsson, chief creative officer; and Stephane Kurag, chief operating officer, and operate as an independent unit of Activision.
