ABS Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision, acquired the outstanding shares of King for $18 in cash per share for a total equity value of $5.9 billion.
King will continue to be led by Riccardo Zacconi, chief executive officer; Sebastian Knutsson, chief creative officer; and Stephane Kurag, chief operating officer, and operate as an independent unit of Activision.
