Imangi Studios released “Temple Run 2” for iOS devices yesterday. The sequel game app picks up where the first game left off, with new obstacles, abilities, player powers and achievements. An Android version will be released soon.

Imangi and its licensing partner, Dimensional Branding Group, expect the sequel game to continue the property’s licensing success.

“In 2012 we and Imangi Studios announced several licensing partnerships, including apparel with JEM Sportswear/Awake, sleepwear with Komar Kids and LF USA, digital comics with Ape Entertainment, card and board games with Spin Master, a dedicated online merchandise store with Café Press at shop.templerun.com, and arcade machines with Coastal Amusements. The licensing momentum for the Temple Run brand continues to grow,” says John Leonhardt, president, DBG.
