Novel Entertainment, in conjunction with recently appointed U.K. licensing agent Caroline Mickler, has signed with Paul Lamond Games for a series of Horrid Henry games and puzzles.

Paul Lamond is planning four new jigsaw puzzles and a Horrid Henry board game for release next year.

The new puzzles and board game follow the success of the Horrid Henry Nintendo computer games and iPhone app, which reached No. 2 on the iPhone kid’s chart.

“Horrid Henry continues to appeal to kids in the U.K. as well as worldwide, and they have fun playing his games across all media,” says Mike Watts, managing director, Novel Entertainment. “We are confident that these new traditional puzzles and games will be as much of a success as Henry’s various computer games and apps.”

The third season of the animated TV show is currently on air on ITV1 and CITV in the U.K., and “Horrid Henry” continues to expand globally with the show airing in Asia Pacific, Germany, Eire, Singapore, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Poland, Korea and Turkey.

Novel Entertainment holds worldwide rights to “Horrid Henry” with Caroline Mickler representing the brand for licensing in the U.K.
