Brian Golden will lead the company into its 125th anniversary in 2020.

NORTH AMERICA–York Wallcoverings has tapped Brian Golden to serve as the company’s chief executive officer.

In his new role, Golden will oversee York’s global business, work to expand the company’s leadership position and further enhance its legacy in design and presence in over 85 countries. In addition, he will be tasked with charring the company’s strategic direction as it approaches its 125th anniversary in 2020.

Most recently, Golden served as the head of the commercial licensing division at the South Carolina-based architectural lighting company Hubbell Lighting. Prior roles include chief executive officer of Litecontrol and a variety of sales, marketing and management roles at USG Corporation.

“Brian is a proven leader with a passion for new ideas that are executed with distinction,” says Jeffrey Goodrich, chairman, York Board of Directors. “He is an astute executive who will bring strong leadership to our global company, expansive creativity to our wallcovering and RoomMates wall décor businesses and positive energy to the talented team we’ve built at York.”
