NORTH AMERICA–Stanley Black & Decker has extended and expanded its licensing agreement with Jakks Pacific, allowing the toymaker to make a raft of products for both the Stanley and Black & Decker brands.

Under the terms of the updated agreement, Jakks will continue to exclusively manufacture, market and distribute Black & Decker-branded role play tool toys to all retail channels.

The toymaker will also have the rights to introduce Stanley-branded kids’ products–such as toy hand and power tools and toy workbenches–at Walmart this holiday season.

“Construction play is timeless, as is the Stanley Black & Decker brand, which is built on a foundation of innovative, high-quality building tools,” says Tara Hefter, senior vice president, global licensing, Jakks Pacific. “We are excited to infuse the same standard of innovation to our line of toys designed for children of all ages to create, construct and play.”

The entire Stanley- and Black & Decker-branded toy collections will be available in the U.S. and Canada.
