NORTH AMERICA–Ellen DeGeneres and PetSmart have teamed up once again to expand the ED Ellen DeGeneres pet lifestyle brand with a robust assortment of cat products.
The new collection will build on DeGeneres’ current assortment for dogs and includes cat scratchers, stuffed toys, feathered teasers, a cat bed, a toy bin, bandanas and more.
The partnership also builds on recent trends within the pet care category, which recently surpassed $1 billion in retail sales in the U.S. Learn more about the burgeoning pet industry here.
“What began as a collection for dogs with toys, apparel and accessories, as well as home items like bowls, toy bins and beds, has expanded into a comprehensive assortment, including natural at-home pet grooming items, products for caps and capsule collections that are seasonally relevant like our forthcoming Varsity collection, due in stores next month for fall,” says Eran Cohen, chief customer experience officer, PetSmart. “We recreated our top-selling ED dog ideas–like bandana collars, toy bins and beds–to appeal specifically to cats and their pet parents. These products represent Ellen’s distinct design aesthetic in a way even the most discerning cats and their pet parents will love.”
The ED Ellen DeGeneres pet lifestyle collection is exclusively available at PetSmart locations across North America as well as online at PetSmart.com and PetSmart.ca.
