Earthbound has negotiated a new deal for the Chris Madden lifestyle brand following the end of its eight-year home furnishings partnership with JCPenney.

Idea Nuova will now serve anchor licensee in bedding, window curtains, throws and decorative pillows in a move to re-launch the 35-year-old home brand.

“Chris Madden is an iconic brand with an excellent heritage. They have achieved great success over the past three decades in the home furnishings arena,” says Jeff Cohen, co-chairman, Earthbound. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them and bring the brand back to the market. We believe that Idea Nuova will be an ideal partner in this effort, and we look forward to great success together.”

Madden was the first design correspondent for “The Oprah Show” and hosted her own series on HGTV for eight years.
