The Royal Pavilion at Brighton Debuts at BLE
The Royal Pavilion at Brighton, also known as the Brighton Pavilion, is making its debut at Brand Licensing Europe this year.
September 24, 2024
The Pavilion was King George IV’s party palace by the sea and the essence of Regency splendour. When George was Prince Regent (1811-1820), he gave his name to the time period (Regency era), which has now been popularized by Netflix’s “Bridgerton” and enjoyed by millions worldwide.
Renowned for its Indian-style architecture and interiors resplendent with designs featuring exotic birds, flowers, dragons and other mythical beasts, The Royal Pavilion at Brighton offers brand collaborations that capture the grandeur and fun of this historic Regency period. “The Bridgerton effect” has spiked interest in Regency jewellery, fashion, furniture and design. The Chinoiserie style used throughout The Pavilion has also seen a boom in popularity.
For the first time at BLE, visitors can see The Pavilion’s fashionable, historic designs, intricate patterns, bold colour palettes and whimsical motifs, as well as products inspired by the time period.
The Royal Pavilion offers a huge range of possibilities and inspiration for licensed merchandise, particularly apparel, accessories, home décor and stationery. By blending traditional craftsmanship with modern trends, The Royal Pavilion captivates new audiences and inspires product lines, giving partner brands the opportunity to associate with luxury, culture and history, bringing a touch of regal splendour to their offer.
