Dealmed, Kodak Develop Infrared Thermometers
Kodak is continuing to expand into the medical equipment sector.
Medical supply manufacturer and distributor Dealmed has announced a licensing agreement with Eastman Kodak Company to produce infrared thermometers.
"Dealmed has built itself on the promise of providing high-quality products quickly, efficiently and reliably," says Michael Einhorn, president, Dealmed. "Through this partnership with Kodak, we will be able to utilize our decades-long relationships within the medical supply industry to ensure that every product meets the incredibly high standard that Kodak is known for."
The thermometers will be distributed and sold throughout the U.S. and South America. The devices utilize infrared technology to allow for efficient, non-contact temperature readings while still maintaining an exceptionally high accuracy level.
"We are excited to announce this licensing agreement with Dealmed further to expand Kodak's presence in the medical space," says Clara Fort, vice president, global brand licensing, Kodak.
