Sakar International has signed on to create a line of youth electronics for the Peanuts brand and renewed its licensing partnership with Nickelodeon.

NY TOY FAIR: Sakar to Debut Nick, Peanuts Lines

In a new partnership with Peanuts Worldwide, Sakar is planning a wide range of Peanuts electronics and tech accessories featuring both the classic brand and the updated styling of the upcoming movie (in theaters Nov. 6).

The line will include personality kits (bumper cases and downloadable content); mobile accessories including smartphone and tablet cases, chargers, power banks and styluses; audio products such as speakers, headphones and earbuds; consumer electronics such as boom boxes, CD players and digital and video cameras; USB flash drives; youth toys including walkie-talkies, text messengers, password journals and karaoke machines; and a wide range of musical instruments including guitars, keyboards, dance mats, microphones and multi-instrument musical kits.

brand and its characters are international cultural icons," says Liza Abrams, vice president, licensing, Sakar. "The new film will no doubt generate a lot of excitement, introducing Peanuts to yet another generation of soon-to-be fans. These new products are designed to appeal to both kids who are just discovering Charlie Brown and the gang for the first time, and to adults who have become lifelong fans."

Sakar has also renewed and expanded its long-standing licensing partnership with Nickelodeon. As part of the deal, the company has created new lines for Dora and Friends, SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that will launch this spring

Sakar's new Nick lineup includes:

Dora and Friends:
clock radio, Bluetooth speaker, password journal, projection flashlight, microscope and flashlight explorer pack and more.
SpongeBob SquarePants:
earbuds, plush headphones, smartphone and tablet cases and karaoke machines.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:
cameras, headphones, a karaoke boom box and phone cases.
