International character brand will be featured on varied arts and crafts products.
August 1, 2022
Mondo TV Group, an European producer and distributor of animated content, and licensing agent for many international brands, has announced it has awarded a license for the character brand, Gorjuss, on behalf of brand owner, Santoro Licensing, to Multiprint, producer of stamps and coloring accessories for kids from preschool to tween and teen.
The Gorjuss license will see the brand appear on boxed sets of wooden/rubber stamps for arts and craft sold together with various combinations of coloring accessories including ink stamps, markers, crayons and pencils. The market launch will be in the first quarter of 2023. The range will be available at multiple retail outlets, bookshops and major stores.
The Multiprint range will reflect the appeal of Santoro’s colorful Gorjuss brand, which is based on imagery featuring sweet, stripey-socked girls with big hearts.
The news of the signing follows newly signed licenses in Italy for Epiphany confectionery and gifting, greeting cards and children’s rainwear and footwear.
U.K.-based Santoro is a multi-brand design house creating gifts, stationery and lifestyle products. Santoro’s highest-profile character brand is Gorjuss. Internationally described as a retail phenomenon, Gorjuss is currently in its 13th year and its popularity is still growing.
Gorjuss expects vast licensing potential in the Italian market, where Mondo is particularly targeting such key categories as apparel, toys, publishing, cosmetics, homeware, gifts, food and confectionery.
Santoro will be at stand A180 during Brand Licensing Europe Sept. 20-22. Find out more info here.
