GfK Offers New Report on Digital Media

The Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association has teamed up with research company and Brand Licensing Europe Knowledge Partner GfK to release an exclusive quarterly report covered the digital, durable and gaming categories.

The report, designed specifically to give licensors and licensees insight into trends, purchasing and pricing in these categories, will be available exclusively to LIMA members at 40 percent off GfK’s normal price.

“We are seeing a significant trend for licenses to move into the digital space. This report addresses the need for current research into the consumer electronics, IT and telecoms market and will provide vital management information for licensors and licensees already working or looking to move into those sectors,” says Max Templeman, account manager for consumer electronics, GfK.

The report will cover sales trends, branded and own label pricing, category attributes, online sales trends and household purchase rates across 30-plus product categories and collated from EPoS data. The first report, covering September, will be available Nov. 1. Available in hard copy and online, the GfK report will include monthly data and be updated quarterly.
