Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products has announced two new deals for The Simpsons that will see the classic brand featured on a line of snowboards and a design range at Urban Outfitters.
Through a collaboration with street artist Shepard Fairey (who was featured in an episode of “The Simpsons” last season), FCP has created the UO <3s The Simpsons Dope Collection, available exclusively at Urban Outfitters.
Inspired by Fairey's "Hope" election visuals and Obey artwork, the line features Homer Simpson with an Obey treatment. The range, which is now available at Urban Outfitters stores and online, includes a poster, t-shirt, flask and iPhone case.
"There's a shared spirit and sense of humor between Shepard Fairey and the The Simpsons that is exhibited through this partnership and we think the Urban Outfitters consumer is going to love the trend-forward and iconic collection," says Jeffrey Godsick, president, FCP.
Following the successful launch of The Simpsons skateboards earlier this year, FCP has teamed up with Santa Cruz for a line of The Simpsons-branded snowboards and snow skates, now available online.
The snowboard and snow skate collections feature three The Simpsons designs–The Bart, The Homer and The Duff Beer–along with color-coordinated bindings for the snowboards.
