So What'cha Want: Adidas Announces Beastie Boys Shoes

Adidas has announced a new collaboration with hip-hop group the Beastie Boys in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the group’s second studio album

Paul’s Boutique

The collection was unveiled at Adidas’ Beyond the Streets exhibition space in New York City.

According to

High Snobiety

, it will be highlighted by a new Adidas skateboarding shoe influenced by the group’s experience with skating, hardcore punk, hip-hop and graffiti culture over the last 30 years. A portion of the sales of the collection will go to PEACE Sisters and Little Kids Rock.

Adidas’ announcement adds to its long-running relationships with musical artists. The shoemaker previously partnered with artists such as

Beyoncé

and

Childish Gambino
