Finsbury Foods Named as Swizzels Licensee

The company will create licensed cupcakes, tray bakes and celebration cakes for the brand.

Swizzels has welcomed Finsbury Foods, a specialty bakery manufacturer, as its licensee for cupcakes, tray bakes and celebration cakes.

“Swizzels is a British classic, and we’re thrilled to bring their nostalgic flavors to life through our range of cakes,” Daryl Newlands, head, brands and marketing, Finsbury Foods. “We know that Swizzels’ sweets evoke happy memories for many, and by creating a line of delicious baked goods inspired by these flavors, we hope to offer a new way to enjoy the taste of these iconic sweets.”

Brokered by Blonde Sheep Licensing, the agreement extends across all the Swizzels favorites including Love Hearts, Refreshers, Drumstick Lollies, Rainbow Drops, Double Lollies, Parma Violets and Squashies. It will bring the distinctive and nostalgic flavors of Swizzels' sweets to a new range of cakes and baked goods in major retailers nationwide.
