Welch’s has added two new items to its portfolio of food and beverage extensions–PB&J snacks and sparkling drink concentrates.

Promotion In Motion Companies, makers of Welch's fruit snacks, have launched the new Welch's PB&J snacks in the U.S.–round, bite-sized snacks that feature a chewy center made with real fruit surrounded by a peanut butter coating. The PB&J snacks are available in four different varieties–Concord grape or strawberry center and creamy or crunchy peanut butter outside.

Additionaly, SodaStream, maker of home beverage carbonation systems, has teamed up with Welch's to launch a line of sparkling drink concentrates co-developed exclusively for the SodaStream system.

"We are very excited that this partnership with SodaStream will allow people at home to add the sparkle of carbonation to the great taste of Welch's," says Brad Irwin, president and chief executive officer, Welch's. "This is a great opportunity to bring the goodness of Welch's to more consumers in a fun and innovative way."

Welch’s SodaStream concentrates will be available during the second half of 2014 in the U.S.
