Food company Unilever has launched a new Chupa Chups ice cream nationwide in Italy.

The range of mini ice creams is inspired by three of the brand’s flavors – lemon, strawberry and cola – for the first time. They also recreate the actual shape and size of the Chupa Chups XXL lollipops.

“We are beyond satisfied with this fun and colorful ice cream launch,” says Marta Ballesteros, area licensing manager, Perfetti Van Melle. “Only a company where innovation is at the heart of everything they do, could succeed in launching this ice cream with the perfect iconic shape of our lollipops. And then they taste so good … what is not to love about them?”

“We’re excited to partner up with Perfetti van Melle Group to turn a loved treat into delicious ice creams responsibly made for kids. This is a ground-breaking innovation for everyone on the hunt for new and exciting products to try. We are confident these ice cream lollies will bring joy and fun to Chupa Chups’s fans. The best news to kick-off the ice

cream season in Italy can now be found in the red freezers,” adds Julie McCleave, global licensing director, Unilever.

The range will be available to the Italian public in Unilever’s Out of Home channels.
