Sonic Drive-Ins’ licensing representative Harris-Sachs has signed a series of deals with universities in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas for an edible promotion.

This fall, edible images from Lucks Food Decorating Company will be incorporated into the buns of a range of special recipe burgers.

For example, the University of Louisiana Lafayette will get the Rajun Cajun burger with a Rajun Cajun logo on the bun. Other participating universities include University of Texas San Antonio, University of Louisiana Monroe, McNeese, Oklahoma State, University of Oklahoma and Louisiana Tech.
