NORTH AMERICA–Sonic Drive-In has teamed up with a number of licensees to bring its signature flavors to the grocery aisle.

Sonic Drives into the Grocery Aisle

Brand Central deals for Sonic-branded freezer novelties, hard candies and more.


Brand Central, Sonic’s licensing agency, brokered the deals.

New licensees include Jel Sert Company for gelatin, pudding mixes and shelf-stable freezer bars; Ziegenfelder for frozen ice pops; and Quality Candy for lollipops and hard candy.

“With the introduction of these new and exciting retail products, we’re keeping Sonic top-of-mind by meeting current fans where they are and welcoming new fans to the brand where a drive-in does not yet exist,” says John Budd, chief strategy and business development officer, Sonic.

The Sonic-branded products will be available at retailers throughout the U.S. this spring.
