
The Smurfs are being featured on special branded packs of Francescon Meloni cantaloupes at Italian retailer Esselunga, in a promotional partnership negotiated by Backstage Licensing.
Collectible magnets are included in each pack, which launched at retail Aug. 15. In addition to branded packaging, the melons are showcased in Smurfs-themed displays where kids can measure their height.
