Purple Carrot and Conagra have launched frozen plant-based meals at Whole Foods Stores in the U.S.

Meal kit provider Purple Carrot has teamed with Conagra Foods to launch a collection of planet-based, frozen single-serve meals. 

All the new products were developed with the same flavor profiles and nutritional philosophies that are core to Purple Carrot’s meal kit offering. At launch, the collection includes four meals: 

  • Plant-Based Meatball Marinara; 

  • Maple Chipotle Veggie Bowl; 

  • Sweet Corn Elote Bowl; and 

  • Fiesta Pepper Bowl. 

The line has debuted at most Whole Foods Market stores across the U.S. Each meal is priced at $5.29. It adds to the growing plant-based foods scene. The Halal Shack recently teamed with Impossible Foods to add plant-based meat to its menu.
