The piece of plastic that prevents the pizza from touching the box, called a pizza saver by Pizza Hut, is making its way to an IKEA table design.

In a new collaboration, IKEA will release a table designed to look like the classic “pizza table,” complete with Pizza Hut branding. The three-legged white table has a Pizza Hut logo stamped in the center.

The IKEA table, called the Säva, a play on words of the word pizza saver, will be available at IKEA Hong Kong for a limited time.

Pizza Hut is also debuting a new product for the collaboration, a Swedish meatball pizza. The collaboration launched with the help of communications company Ogilvy and, according to Branding Asia, has seen quick success.

“We’ve been absolutely thrilled to see the launch [of] the new Pizza Hut x IKEA pizza with a fun, cheeky campaign that has proven to be quite popular with the fans already on the first day,” says John Koay, executive creative director, Ogilvy Hong Kong. “This is a great pizza, and this campaign really shows how collaborations can really benefit the fans – not just the brands.”

Both items will be available in Hong Kong for a limited time.
