Classic rock band expands to the liquor category.

Fabrica de Tequilas Finos has created a new spirit inspired by the rock band AC/DC, called Thunderstruck Tequila.

The deal was brokered by the band's licensing agents Epic Rights and Perryscope Productions.

The new tequila will be available in silver, reposado and añejo varieties and is slated to hit retailers later this year.

The news comes as the band announces rescheduled U.S. dates for the final leg of its Rock or Bust world tour.
