Concept One has added a raft of new candy and food licenses for its line of headwear and cold weather accessories.

The accessories company has acquired several candy brands from Lisa Marks Associates including Spangler Candy’s Dum Dums, Smarties Candy Company’s Smarties, Impact Confections’ Warheads and Just Born’s Classic Peeps, Hot Tamales and Mike and Ike.

The company also acquired several food and beverage brands through licensing boutique, Design Plus, including Post cereal brands such as Alpha-Bits, Honey-Comb and Golden Crisp Sugar Bear, The ICEE Company’s ICEE and Slush Puppie brands, and the Superpretzel Soft Pretzels brand from J&J Snack Foods.

“We’re thrilled to add these classic brands to our licensed portfolio,” says Sam Hafif, chief executive officer, Concept One. “Consumers have grown up with these yummy products, and our accessories will allow them to further that connection in fun new ways.”
