Lollipop brand Chupa Chups has signed a raft of new licensing deals in Italy.

Fast fashion retailer Sicem is on board to develop trend-driven streetwear for the brand. Sicem's first collection will hit its shelves beginning in spring 2015. The apparel range is targeted to male and female kids and teens.

The brand has also locked up Academia for a fashion-driven range of back-to-school and gifting products such as notebooks, pencil cases, fashion bags, wallets, watches and small accessories. The line will hit retail in spring/summer 2015.

Finally, Paglieri Sell System has created a collection of six lip balms that are already on shelf at specialized retailers, drugstores, perfumeries and department stores across Italy. The lip balms are derived from the essence and aroma of various Chupa Chups flavors.

“We are excited to have new partners on board for the Italian market that have understood perfectly the spirit and philosophy of the brand and are creating original and high quality products,” says Marta Ballesteros, licensing area manager, Pefetti van Melle, the manufacturer and distributor of Chupa Chups. “We are convinced that these projects will be a huge success all over the country.”
