Soy sauce brand Kikkoman, together with its master agent Tact Communications and the Tokyo-based licensing consultancy ZenWorks, have appointed Brand Central to extend the brand into new product categories in North America.

Brand Central will initially focus on lifestyle categories for Kikkoman such as housewares including woks, kitchen textiles, Japanese cutlery, as well as apparel.

“With Asian flavors and products on the rise, we are so excited to be working with Kikkoman, which is rooted in such a rich heritage and known for its high-quality products," says Ross Misher, chief executive officer, Brand Central. "A trusted name for Japanese flavors, we look forward to extending the quality and philosophy behind the Kikkoman brand into a variety of consumer products.”

Founded on tradition and quality, Kikkoman Soy Sauce is brewed using traditional methods and supervised by soy sauce masters today just as it was over 300 years ago in Japan.
