The company put together a curated selection of Frida Kahlo’s works and matched them with some of their female-produced specialty coffees for the collection. The two coffees in the first release are from Astrid Medina’s Finca Buena Vista and Luisa Guaragna’s Finca San Judas Tadeo. The coffees are grown in the state of Tolima and the Sierra Nevada region, respectively.
“Frida Kahlo is an icon and an inspiration for all of us, for modern life and for gender equality,” says a spokesperson for the Frida Kahlo Corporation. “The collaboration with a revolutionary coffee company to celebrate the work of some of the world’s best female coffee producers rings true indeed.”
The coffees are available now.
