WildBrain CPLG has been appointed worldwide licensing agency for British luxury leather goods and gifts brand Osprey London.

Founded by British entrepreneur and designer Graeme Ellisdon in 1980, Osprey London is best known for its leather bags and accessories for men and women. With an initial focus on the U.K. market, WildBrain CPLG will extend the brand into new categories including apparel, personal care, footwear, home and gift.

“The Osprey London brand has a thriving clientele of loyal fans who appreciate the way our products combine understated luxury with intelligent detail,” says Graeme Ellisdon, chief executive officer, Osprey London. “We’re raring to translate the brand ethos into exciting new categories for our customers.”

WildBrain CPLG will look to capitalize on Osprey London’s recent slate of collaborations. The brand recently partnered with several fashion designers including Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith and Dries Van Noten, and most recently joined forces with Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry to produce a limited-edition handbag collection.

“We are excited to welcome such an iconic British fashion brand to our portfolio,” says John Taylor, managing director, U.K. and France, WildBrain CPLG. “Osprey London is renowned for its great design, quality and sense of style, and we look forward to working with best-in-class partners to extend these values into new product areas.”

Formerly DHX Media, WildBrain CLPG rebranded earlier this year and boasts more than 40 years of brand licensing experience. The new deal adds Osprey London to its list of brand partners that include “SpongeBob SquarePants,” Phantom of the Opera and Sony.
