Moschino Releases Sesame Street Collection Featuring Kasey Musgraves

New apparel line celebrates Muppets.

Italian fashion house Moschino has released a new “Sesame Street” clothing collection fronted by singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves. In celebration of characters: Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Grover and Bert and Ernie, the adult-directed collaboration features elements of all things “Sesame Street” as interpreted by creative director Jeremy Scott.

Allowing the cast to speak for themselves, the designs are all set on neutral fabrics of black, white and heather grey. Items in the collection include a black, hooded windbreaker, cropped denim vest set, knitted cardigan and sweater, as well as nylon accessories with embroidered character patches. Graphic depictions of the cast include characters dressed in Moschino biker jacket motifs, tracksuits, tees and sneakers and playful bubble letter logos.

The promotional campaign features Kacey Musgraves as the face of the collection in a series of images. The Moschino Sesame Street collection features 33 pieces of ready-to-wear and

accessories and launches in June.
