Global lifestyle brand, CASETiFY, announced its first collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (The Met). The partnership brings together an exclusive lineup of works of art from The Met collection with Casetify’s signature tech accessories.
In the first collaboration between The Met and CASETiFY, tech accessories pay tribute to the cultural landmark, including famous works of art that it houses. Taking a modern spin on classic paintings, fans can shop the works of Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Utagawa Hiroshige and Katsushika Hokusai on Casetify’s Impact, Ultra Impact, Mirror, Ultra Compostable, Leather and Canvas Cases. The collection will also pay homage to The Met itself, with designs featuring the current and previous Met logos throughout its 152-year history.
“Part of The Met’s mission is to bring art into people’s everyday lives,” says Lisa Silverman Meyers, global head, retail creative and marketing, licensing and partnerships, The Metropolitan Museum of Art. “We’re thrilled to be working with Casetify to bring iconic works from the Museum collection into the hands of art lovers around the globe in a new and modern way.”
Fans of The Met and its artworks can also purchase CASETiFY’s limited-edition triptych case set – composed of three individual phone cases depicting Katsushika Hokusai’s “The Great Wave.”
“The Met is known for being home to the most influential artwork in history, and Casetify has always been about celebrating creativity and artistic expression,” says Wes Ng, chief executive officer and co-founder, CASETiFY. “Our take on the world’s masterpieces invites the next generation to transform their phone into an ever-changing canvas.”
In addition to phone cases, products in the collaboration extend to accessories for Airpods and Airpods Pro, MagSafe wallets and wireless chargers.
Art lovers and fans of the Museum can sign up now for priority access to shop the collection at Casetify.com/co-lab/the-met ahead of launch on March 25.
