With less than a week away until Licensing International Expo, girls' stationery brand and exhibitor Lisa Frank has signed two licensees for fashion and publishing.

Local Celebrity is rolling out fashion tops to the juniors' specialty market. The apparel features Lisa Frank's second-generation appeal and nostalgic art. Meanwhile, Modern Publishing is on board to produce a full line of coloring and activity books for the mass market.

"After all this time it is amazing to see the reaction to our products ... especially as we compete with the biggest players in a consolidating market place," says Lisa Frank, president and chief executive officer. "We are at the Licensing Show because girls  and their mothers are asking for more Lisa Frank products, including apparel, home decor, storage, health and beauty, pet products and creative interactive products. We are looking for best practices companies who share our philosophy and commitment to making great products with our iconic art, colors and style and giving girls what they want."

The Lisa Frank brand, which was founded in 1979, began as a sticker line and quickly grewn into stationery, school supplies, clothing, toys and gifts.
