

Whalen will report directly to Trump in the new position. Her main focus will be on expanding the Ivanka Trump Collection business internationally as well as domestically through partnerships and pursuing new licensing opportunities.
Whalen joins the company from
Maxim
, where she was heading up the magazine's domestic licensing division. She spent the majority of her career at Kate Spade New York, with 10 years of experience in various roles of increasing responsibility including developing their portfolio of licensed businesses. Her last position there was in 2014 as the head of product strategy, a then newly created division in which she was responsible for the overall management of the internal businesses she had implemented, including watches, fragrance, beauty and tech.
