HipDot and Tapatío Reunite for a Día de los Muertos Collaboration

This is the second time HipDot has collaborated with Tapatío, but with inspiration from the Mexican holiday.

Los Angeles-based HipDot is reuniting with popular hot sauce brand Tapatío for a new HipDot x Tapatío Día De Los Muertos collection, available for pre-order at Hipdot.com starting on Oct. 19.  

The collaboration was inspired by the Day of the Dead, a holiday originating in Mexico and observed on Nov. 1-2. Makeup enthusiasts and hot sauce lovers alike can achieve the traditional folk art looks of the holiday with the limited edition HipDot x Tapatío Día De Los Muertos Collector’s Box, which includes an eyeshadow palette, beauty sponge, liquid lips and loose glitter.  

“After the success of our partnership with Tapatío for its first-ever makeup collection last year, we knew that we had to give fans another collection, but with an added twist,” says Jeff Sellinger, chief executive officer, HipDot. “The integration of Día De Los Muertos this time around is the perfect alignment and we’re excited to see all of the outpour of excitement and looks created with this collector’s box.” 

The products in the HipDot x Tapatio Dia de los Muertos collection are vegan and cruelty-free, as well as free of parabens, talc, mineral oil, phthalates and other harmful ingredients.
