G4 Launches Consumer Product Line

Gaming and fandom network enters market with an offering of branded merchandise.

Content studio and network G4 has launched its consumer product line in partnership with Snow Commerce.  

Initial launch items, labeled the G4 Founder’s Edition, include branded T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, joggers, hats, beanies and drinkware. G4 also collaborated with internet character Bongo Cat for the G4 x Bongo Cat line consisting of apparel, accessories, drinkware, cold weather gear and home and office items. All limited-quantity products are available on shop.g4tv.com. 

“Our fans want to express themselves as members of a diverse and engaged gaming and fandom community,” says Russell Arons, president, G4. “Our products offer so many great ways to show their fandom and style across all major categories including apparel, toys, collectibles, food, gifts and more. We are excited to bring these limited quantity items to market in connection with the network launch of Nov. 16th.”  

In addition to the launch offering, G4 has partnered with Champion for a limited-edition “OG Merch” drop starting Oct. 25. The G4 x Champion collection will have products featuring G4’s pre-launch slogan, “We Never Stopped Playing” and will be the only time to get the "OG merch" collection. Items in the collection include crewnecks, hoodies, joggers, long sleeved T-shirts and T-shirts. On Oct. 26, consumers will have three weeks until the network’s launch, Nov. 16 at midnight PST, to place orders for the G4 x Champion Limited Edition Drop merchandise.  

 “As we head into our network launch, we’re thrilled to deliver products that resonate with our incredible community and fans,” says Kate Liu, vice president, consumer products strategy, G4. “Our focus is to stay loyal to the spirit of G4 and find new ways to bring content to life through innovative products, collaborate with like-minded companies and provide our fans with the opportunity to uniquely customize their G4 lifestyle merchandise experience.”  

Ahead of the network launch on November 16, G4 will have weekly drops of collections inspired by programming including “Attack of the Show!,” “Xplay” and “Boosted;” collaborations with brands, and limited-edition items that will be discontinued after their pre-order window.
