Maurizio Distefano Licensing agency has signed a deal with Corto Maltese, the comic book character created by Hugo Pratt in 1967, the protagonist of stories and adventures worldwide and subject of watercolors, black and white sketches and graphic novels created by Pratt.

Collaborations with brands such as Lanvin, Monnalisa, Angel & Devil, Iceberg, Adolfo Dominguez can create a combination of auteur comics and fashion, which arises from the possibility of implementing stylistic research based on Pratt's works.

"Corto Maltese enters the agency's portfolio to enrich the offer of well-known and highly positioned brands," says Maurizio Distefano, president, Maurizio Distefano Licensing. "It identifies above all as an iconic and intriguing brand for adults, which due to these qualities is also suitable for high-end products."
