Aimee Kestenberg Expands into New Categories

Eyewear, luggage and more are headed to the line.

Designer Aimee Kestenberg is expanding her footprint to include eyewear, sleepwear and luggage. Launched in 2013, the namesake designer brand began with handbags and has grown into a wide range of product categories available at retailers such as Nordstrom, Dillard’s, QVC and AimeeKestenberg.com.

Aimee Kestenberg is represented by Jewel Branding & Licensing for licensing opportunities globally. Available categories include footwear, jewelry, fashion accessories, outerwear, activewear and others.

The new eyewear collection, developed with licensee Planet Earth Eyewear, includes blue light glasses and readers that launched this spring at Nordstrom and AimeeKestenberg.com. The designer’s sunglasses collection is to follow, launching in summer ’22.

In addition, Kestenberg will introduce her new collection of Aimee Kestenberg luggage at Nordstrom next month. Developed in partnership with licensee Calego International, the collection will expand to other retailers later this year.

The newest category to the Kestenberg portfolio for 2022 is Sleepwear & Loungwear. True to the Kestenberg design DNA, the collection will be the first of its kind to incorporate functionality to fashionable and highly comfortable sleepwear and robes with Kestenberg’s signature prints and design details. The collection, manufactured by licensee Morsam Fashions, will launch at retail Spring/Summer 2022.

“As a designer, entrepreneur and busy mom of two little ones, my aim is to create pieces that not only look great and feel great but that are as practical as they are fashionable,” says Kestenberg. “I design to empower women in mind, body and soul with everything I touch – from luxury leather accessories with pockets in all the right places, to breathable butter-soft sleepwear (with those much-needed pockets for when you’re headed downstairs with a child on your hip, and not enough hands for your phone and water!).  We design with our girls’ real life needs in mind and I’m thrilled to be expanding so quickly into the areas of women’s lives they are looking to us for.”
