Viacom International Media Networks has appointed four executives–Laura Abril, Amalia Martinez de Velasco, Stefano Araldi and Amit Arora–to new positions across Southern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer products has expanded the remit for Araldi, vice president of licensing. He will now oversee the network’s licensing, consumer products and recreation business across all territories in Southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Abril, former vice president of youth and music, has been promoted to senior vice president of both youth and music and kids and family brands. In her new role, she will oversee the brands of MTV and Nickelodeon.

VIMN Asia has appointed Arora as vice president of strategy and business development. In his new role, Arora will help drive the cross-business growth strategy and business development opportunities in Asia.

Finally, Martinez de Velasco, former vice president of comedy, is now the senior vice president of entertainment brands. Her responsibilities will now also include Comedy Central, Paramount Channel and Spike.
