VIMN has named Larissa Zagustin as senior vice president and general counsel for its brands and businesses in LatAm, Canada and the U.S. Hispanic market.

Viacom International Media Networks has named Larissa Zagustin as senior vice president and general counsel for the company’s brands and businesses in Latin America, Canada and the U.S. Hispanic market.

As general counsel, Zagustin will be responsible for mergers and acquisitions, media distribution, financial transactions, intellectual property licensing, sponsorships and general commercial and regulatory matters across VIMN’s MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and Paramount channels in LatAm, as well as Tr3s in the U.S. In addition, she will be leading the business and legal affairs teams in the region.

Zagustin will be based in Miami, Fla., and report to Scot McBride, executive vice president and chief operating officer, VIMN The Americas, and Roger James, general counsel, VIMN.

“Larissa has demonstrated excellence in a wide and complex scope of responsibilities, ranging from mergers and acquisitions to strategic partnerships,” says McBride. “She has effectively counseled our company during accelerated growth over the years, and we look forward to bringing her expertise and merit back to The Americas division.”

Prior to this appointment, Zagustin was deputy general counsel, vice president, international business and legal affairs, VIMN.
