Tech 4 Kids has brought on Rick Mershon, Steve Beilman, Graeme Bissett, Carmela Bucarelli and Saoirse Minden for a variety of sales and marketing positions in anticipation of its 2017 priorities.

First, Mershon has joined the company as senior vice president of sales. In his new position, he will help the company grow its presence in the U.S. and Canadian retail markets. Prior to joining Tech 4 Kids, he held senior-level sales positions at Blip Toys and Summit Toys as well as held positions with a number of sales agencies.

Additionally, Beilman will transition into the role of vice president of international sales.

Next, Bissett, who previously served as international sales manager, has returned to the marketing department to take on responsibilities of marketing manager. Bissett will now oversee responsibilities in licensing as well as help guide the strategy in digital and social marketing campaigns.

Also joining the Tech 4 Kids marketing team is Bucarelli as senior brand manager and Minden as brand manager. Both will now help contribute to the growth of their respective product lines as well as the continued expansion of the company’s product portfolio.

“There is amazing momentum in the toy industry and Tech 4 Kids recognizes this to be the time and opportunity for the company to expand its market share,” says Brad Pedersen, president and chief executive officer, Tech 4 Kids. “The business has experienced significant global growth over the past couple of years and this has demonstrated the need for the company to further bolster its team. We expect to benefit from an exciting new phase of growth in the business and in preparation we are realigning team members into areas of focus as well as adding additional resources where necessary.”
