TCG has added three new members to its executive team.

Kelly Elwood has joined the company as vice president of marketing and licensing. Elwood is a children’s licensing veteran whose resume includes positions at Mattel, DHX Media, Nelvana, Cookie Jar, and CINAR. Most recently, she worked as the director of retail marketing, North America, at Nelvana.

Steve Gibson is on board in the newly created role of vice president of operations. His experience includes 20 years in retail, private brands and global sourcing. Before joining TCG, he served as the vice president of global sourcing, merchandising, and private brands at The Source (Bell) Electronics and vice president of global operations for its subsidiary, SeaLink Sourcing Group.

Leila Nosrati has joined as head of inventor relations and product acquisition. Nosrati served as the director of merchandising at Toys ‘R US for 14 years where she worked strategic planning, concept development, assortment growth, and retail strategy to execute programs that deliver brand and category expansion programs among others.

“Each of these seasoned pros brings decades of relevant experience and noteworthy accomplishments that will help inform and further drive the success of our business and retail partnerships in profitable new ways for years to come,” says Michael Albert, president and chief economic officer, TCG.
