STX Ups Röckenwagner to Chief Brand Officer

NORTH AMERICA–STX Entertainment has promoted Patricia Röckenwagner to serve as the company’s chief brand officer.

The company’s chief communications officer has been promoted to chief brand officer.

NORTH AMERICA–STX Entertainment has promoted Patricia Röckenwagner to serve as the company’s chief brand officer.

In her new role, Röckenwagner will manage all aspects of communications and marketing for the global STX brand as well as its company culture and strategic positioning. Röckenwagner will also continue to operate within STX’s leadership team, where she will collaborate with the studio's film, digital, television and VR divisions to maximize brand equity.

Most recently, Röckenwagner serve ads chief communications officer at STX, where she worked to advance the company’s global positioning and to bridge the U.S. and Chinese markets. Prior to joining STX, Röckenwagner was a senior advisor at Advance Vixeid Partners, the independent investment arm of Advance Publications and Condé Nast. She also served in executive roles at McGraw Hill Financial (now S&P Global), Paramount Pictures, Time Warner Cable, Comcast and AT&T.
