Studio 100 has named Martin Krieger chief executive officer, bringing a fresh look to the media firm and its subsidiaries Studio 100 Film, Studio 100 International, m4e as well as the new studio Isar Animation in Germany.

Krieger’s prior experience includes building an international YouTube business for the company, working at YouTube and Google and multiple marketing and media roles at The Walt Disney Company. Krieger’s placement as chief executive officer follows news of Barbara Stephen’s appointment as content chief executive officer for Studio 100 International earlier this year.

“I am grateful and honored by the trust placed in me,” says Krieger. “It makes me happy to return to Studio 100, it’s amazing team and to contribute to the group’s growth in this new role. My leadership will be based on fostering inclusion and diversity to further develop our strong culture. It is through diverse perspectives that we are able to meet today’s audience expectations and anticipate the market needs for tomorrow.”

Krieger joins other newly hired Studio 100 team members including Dorian Bühr, who was hired earlier this year as head of global distribution.
