Sprout, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment’s 24-hour preschool network, has named Kristen Campolattaro as vice president of brand marketing.

In her new role, she will oversee Sprout’s brand marketing and will help develop new strategies to shape and inform all brand and marketing creative, positioning and key messaging. She will also collaborate with the communications, programming and finance teams to ensure each campaign is accurately represented and effective.

Before joining Sprout, Campolattaro founded Brandavore, a brand strategy and marketing consulting firm, in 2013. Prior to that, she was the head of brand strategy and social media for Nook by Barnes & Noble. She is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University in the Masters Program in Strategic Communications.
