The brand licensing agency with a next-gen focus on creating partnerships announced two new assignments.

Experiencing rapid growth and huge demand from brands, the agency has revealed two new hires after a busy 18 months. After welcoming experienced agents and new graduates, The Point.1888 has appointed Saul Segalov as its commercial executive, and Lynne Chappel as its contracts manager.

“Licensing is something I have grown up with, as my family has been in the industry for many years,” says Saul Segalov, commercial executive, The Point.1888. “I was lucky enough to attend my first BLE just weeks ago and saw lots of potential new brands, exciting licensees and new contacts for our existing brands. I can’t wait to see them unravel from start through to completion – what can be better than seeing some product sitting on a retailer’s shelf that you have been working on right from the off?”

While Segalov will be responsible for supporting The Point.1888 brand managers’ day-to-day, Lynne Chappel will support through a focus on legal documents and helping client agreements move forward smoothly.

“Licensing friends had talked about The Point.1888 and what a great company it is, so I reached out to them,” says Lynne Chappel, contracts manager, The Point.1888. “As luck would have it, they were looking for someone with my skillset and experience, and I love the creative, high energy and collaborative culture here already. It’s amazing to be working with such a strong team of people.”

“Business opportunities for The Point.1888 are coming in thick and fast, and I need the strongest team of people around me to ensure we maintain our high standard of work,” says Will Stewart, managing director, The Point.1888. “Saul and Lynne have already fit into the team so well.”
