Poetic Brands has announced the appointment of Anne Bradford as director of a new division within the licensed clothing brand, focusing on apparel and accessories for children and babies.

Having formerly serves as general manager at Blues Clothing, sales director for TVM Fashion Lab and commercial manager for A&J Carter, Bradford will lead the new consumer products arm. The Poetic Brands move into the new target market follows express interest from both licensors and retailers.

“Having established itself as a key player in licensed adult apparel, Poetic Brands are well positioned to expand into children’s wear, babywear and accessories,” says Bradford. “Whilst the market is challenging at the moment, there is still demand for innovative commercial product. Being part of the PDS Group allows us access to extensive sourcing and manufacturing with in-country offices all over the world. Couple this with the company’s zero tolerance on non-compliance, and there are strong foundations to build on. We are also committed and focused to looking at sustainability and how we can encompass this into product throughout its life cycle.”
