International entertainment network Outfit7 has expanded its European management team with the appointment of two new executives at its U.K. subsidiary to oversee the global licensing portfolio and brand strategy for Talking Tom and Talking Friends.

Blanco

Angeles Blanco has been appointed senior licensing director and Randeep Sidhu has been named senior brand director.

As senior licensing director for the EMEA region, Blanco will manage Outfit7’s licensing strategy across the region and build the roster of licensees and agents for the Talking Tom and Talking Friends brands. She will also oversee licensing in Latin America. Blanco joins Outfit7 from DHX Media where she was director of licensing.

Sidhu takes on the newly created role of senior brand director where we will advise on the global brand management of Outfit7’s portfolio of products. He will work with the company’s regional teams to develop the global brand strategy and positioning for Talking Tom, Talking Friends and the new Outfit7 entertainment properties under development

Sidhu previously worked as a brand strategy consultant for Calling Brands and Lippincott consultancies with clients that included IKEA, Samsung and the London Stock Exchange.

“We welcome the experience and ideas that both Blanco and Sidhu will bring to Outfit7 as the company takes the next step in its international expansion,” says Alessandro Traverso, chief operating officer, Outfit7, to whom both executives will report. “It is an exciting time for Outfit7 as the Talking Tom and Talking Friends franchise continues to expand its presence in the world of licensing, content generation and TV, and as we prepare to launch new products.”

Traverso will be in attendance at Brand Licensing Europe in London this October when Outfit7 exhibits at the show for the first time.
