One Animation has tapped Michele Schofield to serve as its senior vice president of content development and sales.

In her new role, Schofield will help the company to expand its content slate.

Schoefield is a programming and production industry veteran who has severed in senior roles at A+E Networks and Turner Entertainment Networks, overseeing program scheduling and commissioning and acquisitions for the company’s Asia Pacific networks. Most recently, she commissioned several hours of original programming and launched the Biography, FYI, Lifetime and H2 Channels for A+E Networks as well as Cartoon Network Korea, Cartoon Network Pakistan, Boomerang Australia and Boomerang SEA for Turner Entertainment Networks.

Schoefield has been recognized by industry publications throughout her careers in the following categories, “Asia’s Most Powerful Women in Media”, “Creative Top 20,” “Fabulous and Under 40” and “Asia’s Most Influential Acquisition Executives.”
