The NPD Group has tapped Kimberly Magnus to serve as president of the company’s U.S. toys business.
In her new role, Magnus will spearhead NPD’s portfolio of U.S. toys services and products.
“The toys landscape is undergoing a transformation, and at this turning point for the industry, Kim’s strong sales leadership, business sense, and experience will be a valuable asset to our toys clients and retailer partners,” says Joanne Hageman, president, entertainment, NPD.
Magnus is an industry veteran whose resume includes various sales and marketing roles as well as the management of insights, promotions, and planning at Mattel. Most recently, Magnus worked as the regional vice president to Pabst Brewing Company, where she oversaw the company’s central division field sales team and managed relationships with distributor partners across seven states. Before joining Pabst, Magnus handled the Sam’s Club account at Heineken USA.
