The University of Notre Dame has named Tomi Gerhold to serve as its director of licensing.

In her new role, Gerhold will oversee the university’s trademark licensing program as well as work to enhance the university’s commercial brand, increase retail exposure, ensure the protection of trademarks and increase revenues derived from the program to support the university’s academic enterprise.

Gerhold joined Notre Dame’s licensing department in 2000 and has held several positions, including licensing specialist, associate director and interim director. She is also a member of the International Collegiate Licensing Association and the University of Notre Dame Licensing Committee, which provides strategic oversight for the department.
